This was my second time documenting a wedding at this families' home in Cogan Station. Situated atop the mountains, able to see over in the next valley, and the views are breathtaking. Shooting here, and working with this family, just felt like home. You know those people you instantly connect with? It was them from the start. Being able to document not just one, but two, of the weddings for this family, was a dream.
Alyssa opted for just a few hours of photography coverage for their day, as it was a more laid back, intimate wedding. Each part of the day complemented Maverick & Alyssa's style perfectly; from the lush greenery bouquets & decor to the open field ceremony. The rug they stood on to say their vows, was the same rug that Maverick and Dylan used to play gigs on. How awesome is it that Dylan is also the one who officiated their ceremony? Alyssa's gown was purchased from Etsy, and while Tammy (her mom), was skeptical at first, she quickly changed her mind once the gown arrived. It was the most gorgeous fit, with 3/4 sleeves and a low back line edged with scalloped lace. The entire gown was stretchy material with a lace overlay, and it flowed with the breeze and every step she took. Comfort & style all in one! And as a bride, you can't ask for much more in a gown on your wedding day!
I won't keep you waiting any longer, as I know you are anxiously awaiting to see the images. Scroll down for a peek at their perfect day ❤️
