Driving up the winding dirt road to this session was a bit nostalgic for me. My childhood school bus used to take me on that same road in the mornings, and in the afternoons for my trek to school.
When Madigan's mom, who is also my childhood friend, messaged me about taking her daughter's senior photos, it was an immediate yes!! It is so crazy to me to believe that we are at that age already; so I am not going to completely acknowledge the fact that my senior year was 17 (gasp!) years ago!
The setting at their home was not only the perfect spot to take photos, it also held meaning for their session too. This area is where Madigan's mom (Cara) grew up, and also where Madigan grew up too.
She was completely prepared- hair & makeup were done, outfits strategically planned, jewelry was polished, and her model stance was on point! Her adventurous and silly side were also on full display, and it was the best way to rock a session. I love seeing my clients relax and enjoy themselves! The entire session was the epitome of perfection.
And no Senior session is complete without incorporating the very things that fill your heart - your Mom, your best friend, and your favorite cat too.
Congratulations, Madigan! The best is yet to come!
