You know, it really has been a hot minute since I have blogged. And my lack of blogging has nothing to do with my passion for it, but does have everything to do with where I am at in this season of my life!
I am so sure that most men and women my age can agree, parenting takes precedence. The time and attention we pour in to our little ones, and in to our families is invaluable. We don't get that time back, so I have been using it wisely!
But, I do also need some time to myself! ( I think all parents can raise a glass to that one too! ) So, I joined in on the most recent styled shoot put on by Caterina of @caterina_photography at Clearstory at the Pajama Factory in Williamsport. With the promise of company from fellow creatives, beautiful dreamy summer shades, and a venue that boasts the most beautiful lighting, how's a girl to say no??
Walking in to the Clearstory Room was nothing short of refreshing. With the copious amounts of window lighting, the white walls and cognac colored floors, any event could be beautiful in there!
It was evident that Caterina & Torey took their time to ensure that every detail of this styled shoot was nothing short of perfect. From the flat lay station supplies, to the place settings on the table, the display of baked goods, and finally the coordination of the flowers & bridal party, it truly was like I was Dreaming in Color during this shoot. I am pretty sure "oh my god" came from my mouth several times as my camera clicked away. It's also noteworthy that the models for this shoot were so easy, fun and incredibly laid back. Their laughter, smiles & energy were incredibly infectious... the proverbial icing on the cake if you ask me ;-)
